When you step inside one of our showrooms, you'll meet a team who truly loves what they do.  Our design consultants come from all kinds of backgrounds, each bringing their own style and expertise to help you discover the perfect tile for your project.

Our story began back in 1953, when Bob Westra opened a small tile shop in Wayne, New Jersey.  His brothers Harry and Don soon joined him, and together they built a company rooted in hard work, craftsmanship, and care.

From those early days - when there were only three tile colors to choose from - we've grown into one of the area's leading tile importers, retailers, and distributors.  Today, Wayne Tile is proud to be in its third generation of family ownership, with seven showrooms and design centers, a dedicated distribution facility outside of Boston, MA, and more than 110,000 square feet of warehouse space right here in Northern New Jersey.  

We're also honored to have been recognized twice as the Italian Association of Ceramics Distributor of the Year for North America (in 2006 and 2023) - something we're incredibly proud of.

Every collection you see in our showrooms has been handpicked from the best factories in Italy, Spain, and around the world.
